Ethical Meets Affordable: Nude Ethics

Nude Ethics designs and creates affordable pieces made with ethical standards. Each one of their in-house designs is organic cotton and fair wear production, made in England.

In addition to their own label, Nude Ethics carries brands who are either handmade, locally crafted, family-run, or use traditional craft.

This is my favorite Nude Ethics piece, the Nude Ladies Jumper, 100% Organic Cotton using water-based dyes, printed in Cornwall, UK.

Millie and Lou is one of my favorite brands carried by Nude Ethics. Millie and Lou takes vintage garments and textiles and works with artists to transform them into one of a kind pieces.

Their dainty illustrations are inspired by some of the greats and contemporary art; each piece hand printed using heat application.

The Essential Fall Tote

With cold weather around the corner, I started looking for the perfect fall bag. Every woman knows your everyday tote is a highly strategic purchase. It has to be able to carry everything you could need for any possible situation. I spent the afternoon with my Motif No.3 bag to show how it’s the perfect sidekick for any girl on the go.

When we choose to shop brands like Motif No. 3 who are made in the USA, we are supporting better working conditions, fair wages, cleaner production, and higher quality standards.

Motif No.3 is a family-built designer bag brand and creative magazine, designing products that reflect art for the creative professional. Their canvas is sourced in the US, their leather is currently sourced internationally (they’re working on sourcing their leather in the US).  Each piece is designed and made in their workspace in in Temecula, California. Motif No.3 is for those who strive to be creative, innovate and shape the world for good.

The Ross family, Maggie, Joel, Stephen and Cheryl launched Motif No.3 as a family-owned business in March of this year. There mission is to cultivate creative culture, and from this stems the desire to bring fair jobs into the fashion industry.

The Transitional Pant by Everlane

As much as we hate to admit it, summer is officially over. As we’re mourning the loss of sunny Saturdays in cut-offs and tees, we enter into one of the most challenging seasons: the transitional period between summer and fall. You’re not sure whether to wear a sun dress and suffer through the 60 degree weather or wear jeans and sweat it out on the subway.

We have found the perfect transitional pants: the Everlane Wide Leg Crop Pant. These airy yet structured pants are the ideal in-between. The cropped silhouette offers a nice relaxed vibe while easing yourself into cooler weather. We loved them so much we got two pairs! Dress down with a simple tee or dress up with a pair of mules and a cropped sweater.

About the brand: Everlane is a brand committed to radical transparency in their production, and take extra care to build personal relationships with their factories and ensure that their workers are paid a fair wage.
